Each table is individually hand constructed from materials tested and proven durable to withstand the rigors of the foodservice industry.
Core materials include industrial grade particleboard, hardwood plywood, and Medium Density Fiberboard. Frames are molded from select hardwoods including ash, cherry, mahogany, maple, red oak and walnut. Resin tables have a standard wood edge dimension of 1.25x 1.75, and laminate and veneer tables with a conversion varnish finish have a 1.25x 1.25 standard edge. Standard edge profiles include soft eased, waterfall, bullnose, beveled and ogee. The standard corner radius is 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or 1. Other wood species, edge dimensions, edge profiles and corner radius are available, please consult the factory. Choose from our 15 standard stain colors for wood edges and veneers, or provide a sample for custom matching (additional charge may apply). Inlay options include but are not limited to veneer, laminate, paint, photographs, digital prints, maps & charts, metal, fabric, weave & cane, wallpaper, tile, seashells etc. We offer two epoxy resin finishes. Our standard epoxy is a clear non-yellowing, UV resistant finish suitable for most applications and is available in high gloss or matte. It is extremely durable and will last the life of the table, however surface scuffing and some scratching of the high gloss finish should be expected. Hot plates and cups over 150 degrees can leave heat distortion marks. For applications requiring a clear resin finish that is both scratch and heat resistant we recommend Tuff-Kote, developed and offered exclusively by Table Designs. Woodedge laminate, veneer and solid wood tables may be finished in either of the epoxies or with conversion varnish. |
